# Do you collect and send any private data during the license request?

**Windows and Mac version:**

The only information collected is your **NIC addresses**, your **computer hardware ID** as well as your **computer platform and name**.

The computer platform and name are merely included to help identify the correct computer should you request more than one activation code to run the rhyming dictionary on multiple hosts.

No private data is collected by us. The validation of your iOS purchase is processed by Apple.
